The 2016 hunting season is about to start! But we haven’t just been sitting around waiting for it. It has been a busy summer for the E2S crew. Most recently we made a trip to the Bahamas to go fishing and lobster diving and we can’t wait to share that trip with our followers.
Now we are building and brushing blinds and planting food plots. Our Specklebelly goose season will be opening in Louisiana on November 5th and we can’t wait to start chasing them all over the state. One major change for this season is we will be spending the opening weekend of duck season in southeast Arkansas instead of Louisiana in hopes of getting a jump on filling our freezer with some mallards. Also, the yellowfin tuna bite has been better than ever this year out of Venice and we have and will continue to take advantage of that.
Rogers’s new duck dog Ace is ready to go. Much to our satisfaction he retrieved 100 blue wing teal in the three weekends of our early teal season. No more chasing ducks in pirogues or waders thanks to Ace.
We will be releasing tons of web content throughout the year including how to videos, insights into our hunting strategies and the gear we use, along with field reports from the E2S crew from around the country. So stay plugged in and informed and please feel free to reach out to us anytime, we love to share our knowledge and experiences.
